About Justin
Many of Justin’s poems have been published in children’s poetry anthologies, most recently in Macmillan’s The Jumble Book. The book takes its title from Justin’s full-length family show about a boy with dyslexia, which was nominated as best children’s event in the Brighton Festival 2010.
Justin has also co-written and performed in plays for Sunny Arts, which produces social dramas for national conferences. He has three young children and is currently writing about fatherhood.
Justin is highly experienced working in schools both as an individual practitioner and a creative project manager (formerly working as creative agent for the Royal Opera House). He worked on over twenty Creative Partnership projects and enjoyed a four year residency at New Horizons, a school in Hastings for pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
