Step 1 – Give us a shout

Give us a call or send us an e-mail briefly explaining what you are looking for. Include age groups and what dates you have in mind.

Step 2 – Suggestions

We will respond with suggestions of authors, poets, illustrators and storytellers who can offer what you are looking for.

Step 3 – Workshops

We will give you an idea of what the author can do on a typical visit and supply you with an accurate costs so you can budget accordingly.

Step 4 – Contact the author

After arranging a bespoke visit for you we will put you in touch with the author directly to finalise the details of the day. 

Step 5 – Somewhere to stay

Step 5  – Somewhere to stay
If your author is travelling from afar (over 2 hours away) we will arrange somewhere  for them to stay, or ask you to source somewhere if you prefer.

Step 6 – Books

We will arrange for books to be delivered to your school ahead of the visit so the author can do a book signing for your children on the day. 

Step 7 – Message to parents

We will send out a sample letter to go out to parents telling them all about the visit and the books.

Step 8 – Payment

We will invoice your school a couple of weeks prior to the event. Payment can be made once the event has taken place either by BACS or cheque.

Step 9 – Relax

If you have any questions or concerns we can be contacted at any time. Once everything is arranged sit back and look forward to the day with peace of mind.

We would love to hear all about how your day went. Of course we love hearing about all the good things, but if there was something that would have made the day event better, we would like to know so that your next booking is even better.
