David Webb has written more than 30 books for children.
He has also produced invaluable literacy resources for teachers and written several articles about encouraging gifted and talented writers.

About David
David has been a regular provider of school based INSET and, in addition to running LEA courses, he has run literacy courses for Cornwall College. With considerable experience of delivering workshops throughout this country and and having visited numerous schools abroad, he guarantees a stimulating and enjoyable day for both children and staff.

David’s AIM High Writing Days

As well as making it an enjoyable experience, the main aim of the day will, of course, be to enthuse and extend young writers. The story writing workshops will provide lots of tips and hints to help the children improve their writing and the format will include quick and efficient planning, setting, creating and developing characters, producing effective openings, balance between narrative and dialogue and effective use of description bringing writing to life through effective use of description.

David is happy to work with children throughout the Primary and Lower Secondary age range and is able to provide writing workshops covering a range of genre in addition to story writing
