Looking ahead: School Visits During Covid-19

Authors Abroad would like to wish all of our customers and clients well, and we hope you are all managing to keep safe during these difficult times.

The covid-19 pandemic has thrown normal schedules into disarray. At Authors Abroad we know many of our customers are wanting to get their usual visitors and events booked in but are obviously cautious with circumstances as uncertain as they currently are.

Authors Abroad have been operating throughout the pandemic and managing director Trevor Wilson is still on hand to answer queries and book acts throughout the summer holidays.

We have always allowed bookings to be made as far in advance as you want - years in some schools cases, so you can book for a time when your schedule is due to be more settled.

We have never had a cancellation policy and this still stands, so if things are not developing as expected you can simply postpone, cancel or switch your physical visit to a virtual visit.

Authors Abroad are delighted to be able to offer virtual visits as an option to help schools, festivals and libraries manage.

Virtual visits

Unable to have a real live visit with an author or poet? We can help!

We have 100 authors and poets who are offering a wide range of virtual visits to cover all ages and all possible scenarios -

large year group assemblies

bubble group workshops

small group mentoring etc

These can be for a one hour slot or for a series of workshops throughout the day.
